Milan Tomic, PhD
Co-founder & CEO
Over 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry covering protein expression and structure-function analysis from mammalian and microbial expression. Deep experience in: assay and process development; formulation and stability for IND and market; quality control, quality assurance and validation of IND and market products; and manufacturing and production organization. Direct experience with mammalian and microbial production processes, as well as implementing CGMP for all phases of product development. PI on over $150 M of NIH grants, with a strong record of delivery and publication.
Ron Najafi, PhD

Ron Najafi is a serial entrepreneur with over three decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As the founder of five companies, he brings over 25 years of leadership in the biopharmaceutical sector to Albrem BioPharma. In 2000, he founded NovaBay Pharmaceuticals, where he guided the company from concept to IPO. During his tenure at NovaBay, Dr. Najafi led strategic partnership efforts, securing significant collaborations with Galderma S.A., the world’s leading dermatology company, and Alcon Laboratories Inc., the leading ophthalmology company. He also expanded NovaBay’s global reach through partnerships with China Pioneer Pharma in Shanghai, Shinpoong Pharma in South Korea, and Virbac in France. In addition to his executive leadership, he served as NovaBay’s Chief Scientific Officer.
